Houston

Bob had a conference in Houston and so we decided to stay a few extra days and see some old friends that we haven't seen in years! We started at the Coopers house where Melodee and I were clearly out numbered...she has three boys and I have three boys. That's a LOT of boys!! We had a great time. They took us to a restaurant called Taste of Texas, where they offered the most gigantic steak possible--of course Bob ordered it. It's called "The Tomahawk!" Huge. We had a great time and had lots of great laughs... Then we met up with the Maddocks at Crystal Beach. It was perfect weather and a nice beach, where we found a million hermit crabs! We just loved it and need to go back! We enjoyed the next day at the Maddock's house--swimming, a little shopping, Rainforest Cafe, and entertainment by the 68 hermit crabs that made it back to their house. Sadly, we had to leave Sunday morning. It was such a fun trip and we were so glad to get to spend some time with some of our dearest friends...
